Silence again

Got this primecooler "PC-VGAHP I" fanless heatpipe VGA cooler. As the rest of the PC is already cooled by low noise solutions, especially the CPU with "Zalman passive heatsink", the gfx card (ATI Radeon 9700Pro)was producing annoying noise - had to cut it off ;). The installation was a bit of mess, but the result was worth it, now the noisiest thing in the case is maxtor hard drive spinning.

I hate these :(

had to take wide spectre antibiotics for month again (last super dose taken last summer), which (would you believe?) made me pretty sick every morning in the last week, and then now, as i finished the dose, i'm sick again even without the dammed green capsules, as the body systems are seriously disballanced by taking this stuff so long :/ Well, it helped with the problem, but i really prey this to be the last time i need them..

YAY! San Andreas!

What can i say.. it's unbelivably complex, there is total freedom and it's pure fun to explore this huge virtual world. Had a bit of problem getting it work with "Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Analog 3" gamepad, but simple registry edit did the trick in the end (credits to http://www.gtaforums.com).
So, if anyone gets here in search for solution to get (i guess) any Thrustmaster gamepad right analog stick working in San Andreas, here's the quick foolproof way:
1. uninstall thrustmapper (might not be needed, but i had to get rid of it to be able to recalibrate the gamepad after the registry hack)
2. run regedit (start/run/regedit)
3. go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contr ol\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\"
4. find a key tree which has your gamepad name in description field - copy the key tree name value (eg. VID_079D&PID_0202)
5. save following text in some text file, named as something.reg:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_044F&PID_B304\Axes]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_044F&PID_B304\Axes]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_044F&PID_B304\Axes\0]
@="X Axis"
"Attributes"=hex:00,00,00,00,01,00,30,00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\VID_044F&PID_B304\Axes\1]
@="Y Axis"
"Attributes"=hex:00,00,00,00,01,00,31,00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\ VID_044F&PID_B304\Axes\2]
@="Right X Axis"
"Attributes"=hex:00,00,00,00,01,00,35,00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM\ VID_044F&PID_B304\Axes\5]
@="Right Y Axis"
"Attributes"=hex:00,00,00,00,01,00,36,00"
5. replace VID_044F&PID_B304 with the tree name you copied in the regedit (eg. VID_079D&PID_0202)
6. save the reg file
7. doubleclick the reg file, confirm it to add the registry entries
8. it's not over ;) - open the game controllers properties in Control Panel
9. open properties, and go to calibrate button there (if you have thrustmapper installed, you won't have the calibration option there, is only available with stock Microsoft drivers)
10. run the calibration - you'll see the right stick is seriously de-calibrated - so fix it by following the steps of the wizard, and
11. THAT's IT :-)
NOTE - check what controller windows think you have, not what box says, my dual analog 3 is registered as dual analog 4!
Just a regular disclaimer - if your computer blows up after applicating this, i take no responsibility for that.
