We desperatelly need something to show to our oponents who judge wheter the multimedia lab project is succesfull. So i created this morph animation (DivX - 300k), which should be a part of "blow their minds out" reel, which would be demonstrated at day of oponent case..

Well, not really learning, but yet the night turned out to be productive.. Another "magazines mess" solver concept.

Weekend, althought I'm supposed to be learning hard for the exam i've to pass on monday, i sit for everything else.. Watched LOTR, Get Carter, played some games a bit, and finally got a second to work on new cork-screw concept. I really like the style, but am not really happy with the image presenting the product... i could work on that in future..

Nothing much happened this week, trying to fight small problems in the multimedia lab i'm building for school, and that quite consumes my resources.. This is "multimedia lab week" :) Only art i managed to make is background based on pictures taken in Roma by Jimmac or his girlfriend.

Oooh, the week was really tough.. 6 exams, some of them i managed to pass, for others would get results on monday. Only work i managed to do besides is concept for sport car under Skoda brand. It's low poly model, and has just to achieve the mood and style of the car, i'll have to remodell it in some curves (nurbs or subsurf) to look better.
Today i got 14 hours of sleep, and the rest of day i watched various movies.. ;) great relaxation i say ;))

Good news - i managed to pass exam today, got our RT editing suite to work properly, and made a quick test inspired by cgtalk challenge.
Bad news is, there are many exams to pass, and quite few time to do the stuff.. :(

I've decided to give blogger just another try.. gues why :)
This was really hyper-speedy-project. Gobak called me to help him by doing _something_ in 3d. After a short chat, we decided to create this monster. The point is, the whole thing took me one single hour!. There was no reference but the photo in the same cameraview as i used. Nothing more, just 1 hour deadline.. I said before i like challenges ;)
Fuck! The next to-do is to find some other solution for diary.. Blogger was not available two times in a single week... that does not make very suitable solution for me.. :( Ok, briefly - new magazines concept here.

The weekend is getting over, and so far, i did not really make progress in completing many to-do's my Palm is beeping about all day :). Nevertheless, at least I managed to make some logo concepts for the Felber, Kristofori & Pinzon agency i freelance for. Besides i had some good rest over the weekend, which counts as well i hope :) (at least for me, this counts hard :) ).
Great day, i slept over 18 hours.. of course not at once, started by fine 12 hours, then cooked a lunch, and then continued for another 6 :). Finally I'm feeling at least a bit refreshed. Bad news is, that the body when given enough time to think, starts to solve old problems, so I'm feeling pretty ill.
I made another visualisation, this time for Magi, whole project done in 4 hours including modelling (with no real blueprints or other form of documentation), lighting, rendering hi-res etc.. Theese architectural visualisations might look like big easy-to-do mess, but remember, it's a mess you have to modell accuratelly to idea of the author, so it's not something you can improvise on, and when the situation is usualy taht the author does not really have the idea complete, the process is really challenging. I'm kind of looking forwards to visit the presentation to see my two express modelling results compared to stuff prepared over moths in hiend packages such as Rhino..

I've been bussy a bit finally, writing the stuff for school. This really sucks, i'm counting days to be graduated..
Kristina got a new set of visualisations made from me this evening, The project is kind of abstract, but it is really huge complex to hold main part of our university in future (possibly). Besides i got new asignment from my nesting agency to create logo concepts for one architecture design house, so i'm working on this now and this weekend.

Ok, blogger seems to be alive again.. good news ;)
Although i has been supposed to be writing tons of school texts today, i actually spent a day in Blender.. First i made iMac spoof, and late at night i fiished new home accessory - the magazine holder. I'll remove the Apple style of presentation, this just happened today.. you know.. the iMac.. etc. ;)

ok, as usually, every single toy i came over broke up second day of me having it.. this blogger seems to have _temporay_ problems with publishing. If the site is still alive tomorow i hope this to get published ;)
So the Apple anounced the New iMac. I watched the hype around the mac community, and thought they'd better serve something breath taking, bariers breaking top notch device as the cube or original iMac used to be. While the design and idea behind the whole new iMac is really good, i think they were supposed to anounce even new cpus (G5) or at least new speed for profesional PowerEverything systems.
Well, so far i really like new iMac design, and although i seen osX recently and it kind ofdissapointed me, the basic idea of Apple is really way long step behind anyone else is doing on scene. Did you noticed yet, that they don't really sell the computer, but the lifestyle? They don't really want the iSomething to do everything you can imagine, tweak every single variable of code.. NO that's not the point. They want it to work, they want it to be easy to use, without really knowing the computer science. If i ever have enough money to afford Apple, i'm gonna get one. Definitelly, just for the feeling.
Ok, now for something completelly different - i brought a digicam to my dorm-room, to take my "blender station" photo, but since the site seems down at the moment, i wanna show it at least here, after all that effort i put into it.. ;))

I had a huge list of tasks to complete over this weekend, but as usually in last three weeks, i failed quite much. Only stuff i managed to work on was modelling and visualisation of architectural project my friend is working on. This took about 2 hours on friday and some 4 hours of saturday.
On saturday night i also managed to finally do some initial steps in designing the "news-sites serving machine" project i dreamed about. I called it XPRESSO™, and it works the way i want, just needs to be served by MySQL, and have some configuration interface, maybe some options to skip sites, and the most advanced version would serve different content depending on daytime or day-of-week. For all of you who don't get the point - i use this "machine" every morning (it's in the startup folder actually) to get through the morning set of news-sites i like to read while having a coffee. So far i had to remember what site to open next - now, i can have my brain switched off a bit longer. It simply opens next website i'd probably like to read after i close the window of the one just served.
So far for productivity. The unproductivity was pretty much the main theme of the whole weekend.
The only noticeable event is that jimmac visited me, so that he finally could try the force feedback joystick i bought recently, and more important - i could have hands on his ubercool Apple PowerBook G4 with OsX.
Ok, today i came over "diary-creation" site called blogger, and since before i was visiting many personal pages like tigert's place and the whole ring around the linux-arts community - it kind of inspired me. Ok - let's see how far would i go.. ;)
